US$200 mln in dispute) administered under the ICC Rules as well as with regard to the construction of a stadium in Donetsk (approx. US$100 mln in dispute) administered under the ICAC Rules.

Representing a commercial seaport operating company in Murmansk in arbitration proceedings administered under the ICC Rules in a dispute related to construction of a seaport and installation of expensive equipment.

Representing a major Russian automobile manufacturer in a dispute against one of the largest U.S. insurance companies over refusal to pay compensation under a D&O liability insurance policy in arbitration proceedings administered under the SCC Rules.

Representing of a major Russian metallurgical company before a Sweden state court following a large-scale international arbitration worth approximately USD 200 million.

The litigation process to challenge the award issued following a multi-year international arbitration under the SCC Rules against one of China’s largest steel producers, related to the construction of a steel rolling plant in Chelyabinsk, was heard by the Svea Court of Appeal.

In addition, advising the issuer of Eurobonds in the liquidation and bankruptcy proceedings, the value of which is estimated at US$4.5 bln and is the largest bankruptcy case in Ireland.

Insolvency and Cross-Boarder Insolvency

Representing a private client in a high-profile criminal investigations in an EU member state, in the course of which unprecedented in scale and media coverage investigative actions were successfully challenged and declared unlawful.

Representing German development conglomerate in several Russian disputes against a notorious businessman in St.-Petersburg emerging from pushing a Russian subsidiary into insolvency by concluding fake loan agreement and bringing the mother-companies to secondary liability for its debts.

Representing a top Greek bank in bankruptcy proceedings of Russian subsidiaries of a Greek development conglomerate following a €40 mln default under Greek law governed facility agreement.

The case involved representation in a number of high-profile disputes before Russian courts with respect to the foreclosure over land plots.

Representing a U.S. government agency in a multibillion-dollar bankruptcy and liquidation proceedings against top Russian banks — International Industrial Bank (Mezhprombank) and AMT Bank (formerly BTA Bank).

The case involved advising on court proceedings within the ongoing bankruptcy cases.
Insolvency and Cross-Boarder Insolvency

Representing a leading Turkish construction company in a dispute over recovery of approximately US$450 million of losses in favor of CHUBB.

The dispute arose out a fire at the Berezovskaya Power Plant.
Domestic Litigation

Representing one of the largest German banks in the recovery of approximately US$300 million from one of the largest agricultural holdings in the CIS.

Representing clients in one of Russia’s largest class actions relating to a bond default by the country’s largest geological holding company with class action claims exceeding 4.5 bln RUB.
