He also has extensive experience of representation in cross-border and Russian litigation. Vsevolod's industry experience is focused on representing companies in the oil & gas and petrochemical industries.

Representing SIBUR International GmbH in a dispute against an American FMCG corporation in an arbitration administered under the SCC Rules.

The dispute arose in connection with the recovery of a debt for delivered goods and involved issues related to the application of UK sanctions legislation, in particular the provisions of Council Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 of February 24, 2024.

Representing major Russian gas production companies in multimillion-dollar arbitration proceedings administered under the SIAC Rules.

The disputes arose out supply contracts.

Representing a Russian atomic energy corporation in a number of parallel commercial disputes totaling several billion US dollars.

The dispute is related to the termination of a nuclear power plant construction project.

Representing Titan-2 Concern in a dispute against a Finnish contractor in arbitration proceedings administered under the ICC Rules.

The dispute was related to construction of a nuclear power plant abroad.

Representing Sakhalin Energy operator of an oil and gas field development project «Sakhalin-2» in a dispute relating to unlawful termination of a time charter and dispute with its drilling contractor.

These cases also concern the application of Article 248.1 of the Russian Commercial Procedure Code.

Representing the world’s largest natural gas exporter in ad hoc arbitration.

The dispute was related to supply contracts governed by Swedish law.
International Commercial Arbitration

Representing the Russian Federation in a USD 1 billion tax dispute arbitration proceedings administered under UNCTIRAL Rules.

The dispute was initiated by ExxonMobil against the Russian Federation and the Sakhalin Region under a production sharing agreement.
Investment Arbitration and Investment Disputes

Representing a Russian state corporation in a corporate dispute resolved in the courts of Guernsey, British Virgin Islands and Luxembourg.

Vsevolod’s industry experience is focused on representing companies in the oil & gas and petrochemical industries.

Worked as a leading legal adviser for LUKOIL Oil Company. Vsevolod has co-authored a number of articles on investment arbitration and Russian arbitration procedure in leading legal publications.
