The dispute is related to the termination of a nuclear power plant construction project.

Representing a Russian shipbuilding company in the dispute with the supplier of blocks, equipment and materials under the SIAC Rules arising out of the force majeure notices of the supplier citing the sanctions imposed by the United States of America or the European Union.

Representing a Russian mining company in a multibillion-dollar dispute with an EU member state in an investment arbitration administered under UNCITRAL Rules.

Representing a commercial seaport operating company in Murmansk in arbitration proceedings administered under the ICC Rules in a dispute related to construction of a seaport and installation of expensive equipment.

Representing a major Asian construction company in an ICC arbitration arising out of the construction of a large energy complex.

His experience covers disputes in the Energy & Natural Resources, Construction & Shipbuilding sectors.

Prior to joining DGP, Rafael worked as a dispute resolution lawyer at a Russian law firm. His track record includes representing Russian companies in complex corporate disputes and advising clients on various sanctions-related matters.
