Maria is a forward-thinking and creative specialist in the fields of intellectual property, technology, media, and personal data, capable of resolving complex issues, including those related to the cross-border transfer of rights to various intellectual property objects, licensing, import and export of goods and technologies, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, due diligence, strategic planning and management of intellectual property assets, transfer of software rights from developers to organizations, intellectual property rights infringements both online and offline, and more.

Maria has 12 years of experience in the field of intellectual property and technology protection and enforcement in Russia and the CIS.
As a versatile IP lawyer, Maria advises clients in a variety of industries, including literature and art, information technology, cybersecurity, telecommunications and media, retail, internet and e-commerce, real estate, the fashion and luxury industry, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, as well as industry and transportation.
Maria is a co-author of the intellectual property textbook of the Moscow State Law Academy (MSAL), the author of various academic articles on intellectual property, a member of the ICC Russia Intellectual Property Commission, Vice President of the IP Club, and a member of the commission for the development of the draft Federal Law on the regulation of artificial intelligence in Russia.
Prior to DGP, Maria worked at the Moscow office of the international law firm Hogan Lovells and at the Moscow office of Google Inc.
