Early in her career, Maria was a team member of the Moscow offices of leading international law firms, including many years in the Moscow office of Allen & Overy. Subsequently, she stood at the origins of a Russian law firm whose most successful and prominent practices included criminal law where she was a Managing Partner for more than seven years.

Maria also has extensive experience in managing and coordinating large international projects in various jurisdictions, including those involving a criminal law element. Maria also has extensive experience in advising on family, inheritance, corporate and labour law. Maria’s clients include major international and Russian companies, as well as prominent entrepreneurs.
