Ilya Simon specialises in international commercial arbitration, foreign administrative disputes and litigation and has successfully represented clients in arbitration proceedings under SIAC, ICC, LCIA, DIAC, SAC, ICSID, LMAA Rules. He is also experienced in administrative disputes in the US, UK, EU, Switzerland, Canada and Australia, as well as proceedings before the European Court of Justice and other foreign courts.

Before joining our team, Ilya Simon formed part of the Litigation & Arbitration team at one of the largest Russian law firms, and also worked at KPMG Tax & Legal.
Ilya Simon has significant experience in dispute resolution in key industries, including energy and natural resources, engineering, maritime, services, finance and technology. Ilya’s practice covers both commercial arbitrations on complex cross-border contracts and administrative and litigation proceedings in foreign jurisdictions. His work is particularly focused on strategic planning to protect the interests of clients in disputes requiring multi-jurisdictional coordination.
