Gleb specialises in international arbitration and litigation.


With degrees from Oxford and King’s College, and significant experience gained at the sovereign practice of Arnold & Porter in London, Gleb brings expertise in complex multi-jurisdictional and politically sensitive projects involving states, governments, and state-owned enterprises. He is particularly sought after in disputes in the English courts and under English law, and investment arbitration.

Representing a CIS state in five multi-billion-dollar UNCITRAL arbitrations and parallel bankruptcy litigation in the Southern District of New York against a Western investor in connection with a dispute over one of the world’s largest gold mines.

Representing a Middle Eastern state in ICSID arbitration over seizure of foreign assets in connection with an attempted coup d’état and terrorism allegations.

Representing the world’s largest natural gas exporter in ad hoc arbitration.

The dispute was related to supply contracts governed by Swedish law.

Representing the largest Russian transport and logistics holding in connection with a multijurisdictional shareholder dispute.

The dispute includes proceedings in an arbitration administered under the LCIA rules as well as in national courts in the UK, Cyprus and the BVI.

Representing a Russian industrial group in the LCIA arbitration arising from a multi-million-dollar claim.

Representing SIBUR International GmbH in a dispute against an American FMCG corporation in an arbitration administered under the SCC Rules.

The dispute arose in connection with the recovery of a debt for delivered goods and involved issues related to the application of UK sanctions legislation, in particular the provisions of Council Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 of February 24, 2024.

Representing a Russian company in proceedings against an international motor racing championship operator over sanction-caused debt recovery in the High Court of Justice of England and Wales.

Representing an oil & gas company against one of the world’s largest commodity traders in a claim for damages under crude oil supply contract in the High Court of Justice of England and Wales.

Representing a state enterprise against an American commodities broker in a claim for damages under precious metals supply contract in the High Court of Justice of England and Wales.

Representing a state corporation in resisting anti-suit injunctions from a Western company in the English courts.

Representing one of the largest Russian transportation and logistics holding in connection with a shareholder dispute across multiple jurisdictions, including proceedings before national courts (United Kingdom, Cyprus, and the BVI) and LCIA arbitration.

Gleb’s experience covers disputes in the Government, Energy & Natural Resources, Shipbuilding sectors.

Before joining DGP, Gleb worked at the London office of the D.C.-based international law firm Arnold & Porter, where he focused on high-profile and politically sensitive dispute between sovereigns and foreign investors, and public international law matters. Gleb also has experience of legislative work and interned at the Russian Ministry of Justice.
