Evgeny specialises in dispute resolution, particularly in the realm of international commercial and investment arbitration. He has a wealth of experience representing clients under the Rules of various international institutions, including UNCITRAL, ICC, SIAC, SAC, SCC, LCIA, AC at RSPP and ICAC.

Representing a major Russian contractor in a dispute in Vietnam arising out of contract in arbitration under the SIAC Rules.

Representing a major Russian airline in arbitration proceedings administered under the LCIA Rules.

The dispute arose out of leasing agreements.
International Commercial Arbitration

Advising and representing a major Russian airline in foreign courts on the withdrawal of interim measures imposed on an aircraft.

Representing a major Asian construction company in an ICC arbitration arising out of the construction of a large energy complex

Representing a British company in ad hoc arbitration under the UNCITRAL Rules to recover a debt under a consulting services agreement concluded with an authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Litigation also included a dispute related to setting aside a ruling on the jurisdiction of international arbitration ad hoc resulting from a consulting services agreement concluded with an authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
International Commercial Arbitration

Representing a subsidiary of a Russian nuclear company in international arbitration proceedings according to the ICC Rules in a dispute arising out of a contractor agreement.

Advising a shipbuilding company in international arbitration proceedings under the SCC Rules in a dispute arising out of a supply agreement and services agreement.

Representing a major steel pipe manufacturer from Russia in a case regarding the recognition and enforcement of a Moscow Arbitration Court decision within the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Representing a foreign debtor in a bankruptcy case connected to the largest corporate conflict in modern Russia.

Representing a shareholder in a bankruptcy case of an insolvent petrochemical enterprise complicated by a longstanding corporate conflict.

Representing a Dutch bank in connection with a bankruptcy case involving its debtor and a parallel dispute concerning the invalidation of loan agreements tried by a court of general jurisdiction.

The case involved representation before the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
Insolvency and Cross-Boarder Insolvency

Representing a large construction-engineering enterprise in an environmental dispute as a consequence of ship dumping in the Caspian Sea.

The case included representation before the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
Domestic Litigation

Representing Client in an international arbitration against a sovereign state under the ICSID AF Rules.

With his multifaceted skill set, Evgeny is equipped to handle complex international disputes with the utmost precision and efficiency.

Evgeny is also well-versed in supporting cases in both foreign and Russian courts, covering a range of disputes including construction, financial, and banking. Evgeny has also authored several publications on international law and has taught a Private International Law course at a leading Russian university. Additionally, he coaches teams of students in international arbitration competitions. Earlier Evgeny was with the Litigation & Arbitration practice of a leading law firm in Russia and the CIS. His career path began with a position as a legal assistant at the international law firm De Berti Jacchia Franchini Forlani.
