Evan specialises in projects governed by English law, international commercial and investment treaty arbitration and cross-border litigation. He has represented clients in arbitration proceedings administered under the SIAC, ICC and LCIA Rules, as well as in disputes before the English, Dutch and Cyprus courts. Additionally, Evan is experienced in sanctions-related matters.

Representing a Russian oil company in arbitrations under the SIAC and LCIA Rules arising from breaches of oil supply contracts.

Representing the client in Dutch courts in relation to interim measures.

Representing a major Russian airline in arbitration proceedings administered under the LCIA Rules.

The dispute arose out of leasing agreements.
International Commercial Arbitration

Advising one of the world’s leading mineral fertilizer producers on the matters related to a dispute in international commercial arbitration under the ICC Rules arising out of the termination of the contract due to sanction.

Representing a Russian company in proceedings against an international motor racing championship operator over sanction-caused debt recovery in the High Court of Justice of England and Wales.

Representing one of the largest Russian transportation and logistics holding in connection with a shareholding dispute in course of the LCIA arbitration, as well as in a number of litigation proceedings in various jurisdictions.

Evan’s experience includes advising clients in the UK, the US, the EU, the CIS countries, and Australia, as well as handling commercial disputes, including in the energy sector, on matters involving common law and civil law contracts, sanctions, and cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining the DGP team, Evan worked at a leading law firm specializing in international arbitration and at an energy company.
