Representing a Russian atomic energy corporation in a number of parallel commercial disputes totaling several billion US dollars.

The dispute is related to the termination of a nuclear power plant construction project.

The dispute arose out of non-performance of shipbuilding contracts.

Representing a buyer of three container ships in the dispute with the sellers of the vessels under the Terms of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA) arising out of the refusal of the sellers to supply the vessels due to the sanctions imposed by the European Union.

Representing SIBUR International GmbH in a dispute against an American FMCG corporation in an arbitration administered under the SCC Rules.

The dispute arose in connection with the recovery of a debt for delivered goods and involved issues related to the application of UK sanctions legislation, in particular the provisions of Council Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 of February 24, 2024.

Representing a major Russian businessman in a dispute regarding removal of publications defaming his honour, dignity and business reputation before Latvian courts.

The case also included enforcement of interim measures in the form of blocking unwanted articles.

Representing the Russian Federation in the WTO Dispute Settlement Body in a dispute concerning procurement of certain goods.

Her experience covers disputes in the Nuclear Energy, Oil&Gas and Chemical Industry sectors.

Prior to joining DGP, Elena worked in the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. She was responsible for representing the Russian Federation in WTO disputes, negotiations on bilateral investment treaties, free trade agreements and WTO agreements.
