Congratulations to the HSE team on their successful performance at the FDI Moot
From October 29 to November 2, the oral rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot (FDI Moot) took place in Boston, USA.
The FDI Moot is one of the key competitions in the field of international investment arbitration. Its case scenario raises some of the most pressing procedural and substantive legal issues in this area.
Dyakin, Gortsunyan & Partners traditionally provided comprehensive support to the HSE University team, which won the award for Best Respondent Memorial in the world.
In 2025, the HSE Faculty of Law was represented at the FDI Moot by undergraduate and master’s students Elizaveta Novichkova, Isak Ari Johannsson, Animesh Mishra, Artem Gritsuk, Ivan Saenko and Alexandra Filipyeva.
One of the key coaches of the team was Matvey Tarasov, an associate in the firm’s dispute resolution practice. The competition case was co-authored by Elena Murashko, an associate in the firm’s dispute resolution practice.
