The Maritime Arbitration Forum was successfully conducted in Moscow with the support of DGP

The Maritime Arbitration Forum, organized by the Dispute Resolution Club (DRC), took place on October 9 in Moscow. It focused on current trends in maritime law and the resolution of maritime disputes, including in international arbitration. For the second consecutive year, the law firm Dyakin, Gortsunyan & Partners (DGP) took on the role of the strategic partner to this unique industry event.

Dmitry Dyakin, Head of DGP’s Dispute Resolution practice, moderated the flagship session dedicated to key trends in shipping. The session’s participants—practitioners and in-house counsel—shared insights on current trends and discussed practical challenges and possible solutions.

Vladimir Pestrikov, a partner in DGP’s Dispute Resolution practice, also took part in the forum. Vladimir shared his experience during a session dedicated to the termination of shipping-related contracts, the resolution of related disputes, and the recovery of damages.

The DGP team has substantial experience in maritime arbitration: its portfolio includes several disputes heard under the LMAA Rules (London Maritime Arbitrators Association), as well as matters related to the performance of shipbuilding and logistics contracts.

We would like to thank the forum’s organizer, the Dispute Resolution Club (DRC), a Russian media group known for high-quality news, analysis, and conference content on international disputes.
