Dyakin, Gortsunyan & Partners Strengthens Key Practices and Welcomes New Partners

Dyakin, Gortsunyan & Partners law firm is pleased to announce the strategic strengthening of its Dispute Resolution and Transactional practices through the appointment of two new partners: Alina Kudryavtseva and Olga Shmakova.

Alina Kudryavtseva joined the Dispute Resolution practice as a partner on 13 January. Within the team, she will focus on defamation and litigation. She has over 25 years' experience working at major Russian and international law firms, representing clients in commercial contract disputes, bankruptcy cases, corporate conflicts and litigation in the real estate and construction sectors. Her expertise also includes reputation protection and family law matters.

On 10 February, Olga Shmakova joined the Transactional practice as a partner.

She brings over 20 years of professional experience across a broad range of areas, including providing comprehensive legal support for complex transactions (including cross-border ones), corporate, sanctions and antitrust compliance, legal support for reorganisations and restructurings, equity and debt capital market deals, and corporate governance (including corporate matters in various foreign jurisdictions such as Jersey, England, Cyprus, Switzerland and the Netherlands). Prior to joining the firm, she held senior legal roles in international law firms and major Russian companies. At Dyakin, Gortsunyan and Partners, she will lead the sanctions team and significantly strengthen the compliance and capital markets teams.
