DGP Welcomes Senior Counsel and Announces Launch of Financial Practice
Dyakin, Gortsunyan and Partners law firm (DGP) strengthens its expertise in financial and banking law and announces appointment of a new Senior Counsel Elena Сhubykina. Elena will head the financial practice, which will focus on advising on complex financing transactions under Russian and English law, including structured finance, asset acquisition finance, pre-export finance, general lending and transactions involving the restructuring and settlement of financial debt.
Elena has over 25 years' experience advising Russian and foreign financial institutions, as well as Russian borrowers, on a wide range of financing issues. She also has significant experience advising Russian issuers on Eurobond placements, both as part of individual issues and programmes. Elena is admitted to practise law in Russia and England and Wales.
Her professional achievements have been repeatedly recognised by leading international and Russian legal rankings, including Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Legal 500, IFLR1000, Best Lawyers, Pravo-300 and the Kommersant rating. For many years, these rankings have consistently listed her as one of the leading lawyers in Russia in Banking & Finance and Capital Markets.
Prior to joining DGP, Elena Chubykina led the financial practice at a major Russian law firm and at several leading international firms.
