DGP Intern’s Research Recognised at Prestigious International Law Competition
🎓The research of Victoria Polskova, an intern of the Dispute Resolution Practice, was highly appreciated by the Council of the X Competition ‘International Law in the XXI Century’ and recommended for publication.
📚 The work analyses the protection of foreign investments in armed conflicts from the point of view of international treaty, humanitarian and human rights law. Particular attention is paid to the colonial legacy of investment regulation and the need to take into account the interests not only of states and investors, but also of vulnerable local communities - using Colombia as an example.
⭐️ The competition annually recognises the best research papers in the field of public international law.
