DGP Held a Meeting with Representatives of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre
On 11 December, Dyakin, Gortsunyan & Partners law firm (DGP) hosted a closed meeting with representatives of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) — Registrar Vivekananda Neelakantan and Margarita Drobyshevskaya, Deputy Counsel. The discussion was moderated by Vladimir Pestrikov, Partner of the Dispute Resolution Practice.
The participants discussed key issues related to the specifics and prospects of resolving disputes involving Russian parties in Singapore.
The meeting was prompted by the growing interest of our clients in Asian jurisdictions as effective venues for commercial dispute resolution — in particular, in the opportunities offered by SIAC. The SIAC representatives elaborated on the procedural features of arbitration and shared practical insights related to the resolution of disputes involving Russian companies.
