DG Partners Announces Partner Appointment and Strengthens its UAE Practice
Dyakin, Gortsunyan & Partners (DG Partners) is pleased to announce the appointment of Innokenty Alekseev as a Partner in its Dispute Resolution practice. His arrival strengthens DG Partners’ regional expertise in the Middle East and enhances the firm’s capabilities in cross-border disputes, asset protection and structuring, and advising ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and corporate clients on complex international matters.
Innokenty brings over 25 years of experience in international law. His practice focuses on international litigation and arbitration, as well as multi-jurisdictional asset tracing and recovery. He also has significant experience in M&A transactions and investment advisory, including alternative investments (private equity and venture capital), and in structuring trusts, funds, and other sophisticated vehicles for corporate clients, UHNW individuals, and family-owned businesses.
Since 2022, Innokenty has been actively advising clients with a focus on the Middle East—including the UAE and other Gulf countries—on international dispute resolution, asset protection, and complex wealth structuring.
Prior to joining DG Partners, Innokenty spent ten years as the Managing Partner of a law firm he founded, which focused on the structuring and financing of complex cross-border disputes and transactions, with a presence in Abu Dhabi (ADGM), Vienna, and London. Over the course of his career, he has worked at leading international law firms, including Debevoise & Plimpton, Hogan & Hartson, and Mishcon de Reya, and has also held senior roles at major international corporations and banks.
Dmitry Dyakin, Head of Dispute Resolution, commented:
“We are delighted to welcome Innokenty to the firm. His extensive international experience in cross-border disputes and asset protection will further strengthen our ability to support clients on the most complex and sensitive international matters.”
Suren Gortsunyan, Head of Transactional, added:
“The Middle East remains a strategically important region for our firm. Innokenty’s appointment marks an important milestone in the development of our UAE practice. His regional experience and deep sector expertise complement our existing strengths and will enable us to provide even more comprehensive support to clients across key jurisdictions.”
